"Tight and bright with sliced-apple and lemon-rind character. Medium body. Crisp finish. Drink now. Screw cap." James Suckling, 90 Points
"Always a reliable buy from Alejandro Sejanovich, this is made with 10% early picked fruit to give it added zip and focus. Totally unwooded, it’s all about perfume and texture, with a hint of reduction and underlying old-vine concentration. 2020-22" Tim Atkin MW, 90 Points
"The 2019 Anko Torrontés wants to showcase the floral, fresh and aromatic personality of the Torrontés grape grown in Cafayate. It's bottled unoaked and without malolactic, trying to preserve the primary character of the grape. It has floral and spicy notes, a little bit like a Gewurztraminer, jasmine rather than rose petals. Some 20% of the grapes were harvested quite early, like if it was a base wine for a sparkling wine, which makes it perfumed but subtle, more austere. The balance here is to manage to keep some saline notes to counterbalance the exuberance of the grape, and that's nicely achieved here." The Wine Advocate, 90+ Points
