When it comes to organic farming, Chile has a natural geography and climate uniquely suited to natural farming. Their pristine environment offers exceptional growing conditions, and for the past thirty years, Emiliana vineyards have been crafting world-class organic wines. The progressive conversion of their estate vineyards began in the mid-1990s. 1,470 acres enjoy official organic and biodynamic certification. The remaining 1,342 acres are ISO 14.001-certified and are transitioning to full organic status at a rate of 450 acres a year. Collectively, Emiliana constitutes the single largest source of estate-grown organic wines in the world.
"There’s finesse and beauty to this wine, showing red fruit, hot stones and hints of walnuts on the nose and palate. Medium to full body, fine tannins and a fresh, focused finish. Very stylish with earthiness. From organically grown grapes. Drink now." James Suckling, 93 Points
